I’m Diamant Hysenaj, and I’m running to represent you— the heart and soul of the Bronx and Queens. I am a proud immigrant and citizen, a devoted husband and father of two, an entrepreneur and a true New Yorker through and through who’s lived the highs and lows of this city. My story is your story: I came here chasing the American Dream, rebuilt after losing everything in 2008, and stood up to corruption when it hit my family. I’ve built homes, restaurants, businesses, and a life here alongside my wife and kids, feeling the same pressures you do—skyrocketing healthcare costs, worries about safety, and the hope for a future we can all believe in.
Are you tired of seeing our streets crumble while politicians show up only for votes? From potholed roads to unsafe corners, our neighborhoods deserve better. Families are stretched thin by soaring rents, overlooked by those in power. I’m running to bring real change— safer streets, truly affordable housing, thriving small businesses, and immigration policies that strengthen our community. My common-sense ideas are built to lift up working families and make NY-14 a place where everyone can thrive.
I’m not here to play politics. I’m here to restore the American Dream that I was blessed to experience—a dream that’s slipping away for too many of us. NY-14 deserves a leader who gets it, who’s walked these streets, faced the struggles, and knows what it takes to rise. Together, we can fix what’s broken and build a future we’re proud of.
