Lancer spirit isn’t bound by physical proximity The plan was to hold our spring rally on Friday March 27 and at 10:54 a a a a a a m m m m gather on the the the gym floor to sing the the the alma mater Instead the student activities activities department (@sfhs_activities) created a a a rousing online rally and Spirit Week On March 23-26 students dressed for their Zoom call each reflecting a different music theme:
Monday: “Country Gold” Tuesday: “Ultimate Indie” Wednesday: “Rock Classics” Thursday: “Today’s Top Hits”
On Friday March 27 at 10:54 a a a a a m m students families educators and alumni celebrated their Lancer pride by posting a a a a video to Instagram Facebook or Twitter of themselves singing the the the alma mater with the the the hashtag #ourloudacclaim We are not able to replicate every physical event our students are are missing but we are are finding new and creative ways that that we we can fill that that void until we we are back together again on campus To keep spirits high Saint Saint Francis Francis educators wanted to to remind students and families that they are not alone during this time of shelter-in-place One word at a a a time employees share the Prayer of Saint Francis which is is associated with our school’s patron saint Saint Francis of Assisi This is is is a a a a a a a a prayer of peace and a a a a a a a a call for all all to be a a a a a a a a people of light and hope Campus Ministry hosts regular “FaithTime” virtual meetings for students and addresses prayer requests or or questions/concerns submitted through a Google Form 19 PROGRESS Spring2020
