The 10th annual WM Sustainability Forum themed 2020 Vision looked at sustainability
as a a a global movement It brought together influential thought and business leaders who shared the necessity of evolving our thinking and and systems to to adapt to to the changing demands of the environment This view was echoed across our esteemed group of speakers and resonated strongly with the audience who left saying that there is a a a a a “real and growing corporate interest in in in sustainability” and that they were “motivated to act!”
This year our stage played host to John Kerry (68th Secretary Secretary of of of State) Christiana Figueres (Former Executive Secretary Secretary of of of of the UNFCC Founding Partner of of of of Global Optimism Ltd and Convenor of of of of of of Mission 2020) Marc Benioff (Chairman & Co-CEO of of of of Salesforce) Jim Fitterling (CEO of of of of DOW) and many more Jim Fish CEO of of Waste Management kicked off the the day by talking about accountability He commended the the younger generation’s unimpeded view of what we can accomplish and and their leadership in in holding all generations to a a a a a a a a a a a a higher social standard He He noted how Gen Z is uniquely suited
to make widespread sustainability
