The garden is growing nicely in spite of the cold wet start to the season and Chef Michael is already using the produce.
Our scheduled Planting Day was a very rainy day.... so the first planned day of planting was cancelled as none of us are that interested in MUD, COLD and WET. The next day, Sunday the 26th of May was sunny, warm and absolutely perfect for planting. Following Libby Bullock’s careful and brilliant design, tomatoes, peppers, parsley, Swiss chard, red romaine, basil and more were planted.

We garden as a group Tuesday evenings starting at 5:30pm Our crew captain keeps us organized each week and writes a follow-up report for our group on what was accomplished and duties waiting to be completed as the plants sprout, grow and mature, almost as quickly as the weeds.
