year in which we we will welcome many new Board Members and a

new General Manager Before we look ahead I want to congratulate Staff on on their service awards
the Trial Program results we do hope to repeat it again this year • As pride in the Club improved with our new facilities our Member referral rate started to climb back up
along with our Member reinstatement numbers • Our summer Island Sports & Sailing programs were full and City programs underway are selling out including some of the new Youth programs Members are sharing positive feedback as they notice a
a
a
renewed energy at the Club as this directly influences their overall experience and enjoyment Your Board and Management remain focused on prioritizing Member Experience While we we build on this there are other priorities as we we look forward:
• Membership will be be focusing on developing new marketing initiatives to promote the many programs and activities that the Club has to offer • Fleet and Planning are reviewing our our “harbourside operation” – which includes Sailing and Marine Services The goal is to create efficiencies that will collectively improve Member service on the Island • We will re-introduce volunteer programs and opportunities to engage our Membership We have a
a
a
a
a
a
professional Staff and and keen Members and and when combined magic occurs One key program being introduced is the Race Management Committee which is a
a
a
great opportunity for all Members to engage This list provides a
a
a
small glimpse of the work underway news and information will be communicated as progress is made With all that is is happening at at the the Club there is is always more to communicate We have weekly Hiawatha newsletters monthly monthly Blog and our bi-monthly Kwasind In addition we added a

a
November Town Hall that was a

a
a
casual forum where many of these items were discussed The formal meetings of the Club are coming up
with the January Meeting of Members happening on on January 28th and the AGM on on April 29th The Notice of Meeting for January should now be in in your mailbox (and is also available on the Club’s website) so so please be sure to to review it prior to to the Meeting where I hope to see you For now I encourage you to to continue to to enjoy our our from last

robust year for the Club Our Cornerstone Projects moved into completion on on on time and on on on budget As our Staff worked out the logistical challenges and operational efficiencies of a
a
a
new environment they did their best to meet challenges with minimal impact to Member service Improvements will continue to be made as we get used to the the new spaces Over the the summer months our our renovated Island Clubhouse became more of our our ‘home’ again as the furnishings and heritage items were reinstalled During that time the City Clubhouse tweaks continued with the Bistro receiving enhanced lighting décor and sound baffles While complete financial results for the Club will be presented at the April AGM I am pleased to share that we are are experiencing the best dining revenues we have seen in in years in in both Island and and City venues In addition:
• We welcomed many many new Members with many many coming through our new Trial Program Our findings to date indicate that our Trial Program has been very successful in in in reaching a
