The Newport Bermuda Race a a a a premier offshore race is is organized by the the Cruising Club of
America and the the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club The 635 nautical mile race from Newport RI to Bermuda is held every second year
2018 was the the 51st edition of
the the race with 170 boats starting in in seventeen classes (see bermudarace com/2018/) The coveted St David’s Lighthouse Trophy was won by the Columbia 50 Grundoon with a a a corrected time
