Just before the Club closed in March, Dr. Lionel Mandel, Infectious Disease Specialist, asked if I could arrange a special talk on COVID-19. All senior Staff helped to put this together in record time, moving it from the Bistro 1852, to the Model Room and then to the Sports Hall so we could honour the two metre social distancing protocol. Many stayed home to watch online, thank you for tuning in and thanks to Elisabeth Mior and Stephen Tung for making the online presentation possible at the last minute. We will work on solutions so that the slides will be visible next time. THANK YOU Lionel for being there on the front lines for
us all.

Many were disappointed that Duncan Harvie’s talk “From Paris to Persia” was cancelled because of Covid-19. Rest assured, it will be delivered at a later date when life regains some normalcy.
I am planning next year’s lectures and welcome suggestions. Stay Safe, Stay Well.
