Wheelchair Solid Seat Inserts
Sammons Preston® Seat Insert with Cover. Made of a high density polyurethane foam to fill the cavity of sling seat wheel- chairs. Cushion may be placed on top of insert for those requiring pressure relief from decubitus. Covers are waterproof, flame retar- dant and washable. Weighs 7 oz. Latex free. 16”D x 13/4”H.
Rigid Wheelchair Inserts. Designed to fit underneath the cushion, on the inside of the cover, to help eliminate the “hammock” effect due to outstretched wheelchair upholstery. It also provides extra sup- port for heavier users. Made of a high-density ABS rigid plastic.
MTS SafetySureTM Wooden Wheelchair Board. Provides the user with a flat sitting surface and eliminates the hammock effect
associated with traditional wheelchair seats. Made of durable ply- wood with smooth finish and rounded corners to prevent chipping. Provides an excellent seating surface when combined with a pressure relief cushion. Each board is 1/2” thick. Weight capacity 300 lbs.
