Features shoehorn and 360° revolving jaw
Combi-Reachers. The four-finger trigger action is suitable for those with a limited grip, while the 360° revolving head does away with the need to rotate the wrist, which may be painful for some users. Other features include an easy-grip shoehorn and rubber-lined jaws that provide extra grip when lifting and a useful magnet. Combi- Reachers tips are designed for easy pick-up and scooping of papers. Trigger contains minimal dirt traps, resulting in easier cleaning. The clip is ideal for storing the reacher on a walking frame. Available in two lengths.

Quad Reacher. Moves by wrist action—no finger movement required. Tension of rubber- band closure easily adjusts to accommodate individual’s strength. Hand orthosis (lined with Plastazote® for comfort) also can be modified slightly. Precise enough to pick up a pin, yet strong enough to hold heavy objects. Stainless-steel and aluminum. Vee-Zee C5 Reacher. Does not require finger function. The C5 is operated from a T-shaped toggle lever at the top, instead
of a conventional trigger. Can also be operated with the mouth. The arm support relieves virtually all stress on the radial side of the wrist while the wrist support prevents non-functional wrist extension. In the case of flexion, the support on the inside of the palm grip helps to control ulnar deflection of the wrist. The supports may be formed
to individual requirements or moved from one side to the other to accommodate left- and right-hand use. Constructed from a lightweight, sturdy aluminum channel with rubber-lined claws that open to 31/2” and close completely. A hook & loop fastener button latches the halves in the folded posi- tion when not in use. Overall 36”L, folded 20”L. Weighs only 11.5 oz.
