Splinting
High Temperature Splinting Materials & X-Lite
FabricFormTM. Super thin material is great for lightweight splints and splint components, such as slings. Excellent for adjacent finger gutters due to the low profile of the material. This fabric-based low- temperature thermoplastic is less than half the thickness of 1/16” material. Moderate drape. Heats and cools quickly. Pack of 4 sheets measuring 10” x 11” (25.4cm x 27.9cm). Latex free.

X-Lite® Thermoplastic. Low-temperature thermoplastic has
open weave for lightweight, well-ventilated splints. Material is self- bonding, so splint rigidity is easily increased by using multiple layers. Excellent material for seating/positioning inserts or for building up tool handles. Use the X-Lite finishing tape for the edges of the splint and the specially coated hook to attach strapping.
