injuries. With the wrist in a neutral position and the elbow at 90°, measure down the center of the palm from the distal palmar crease to the medial epicondyle. Timesaving pre-cut to immobilize the elbow at 90° of flexion. Latex free.

SAM® Sugar Tong® Splint. Designed for quick-and-easy ap- plication when a patient requires temporary immobilization of acute wrist and forearm fractures. The aluminum core allows it to be molded to fit the patient’s wrist and forearm. This is ideal for post- casting immobilization and post-surgical immobilization. The Sam Sugar Tong® limits flexion, extension and rotation of the wrist. Can be easily applied in less than one minute without water or gloves. Soft padding provides excellent ventilation and comfort, can be easily re-molded and is radiolucent.

Bar. Use when immobilization of the elbow and wrist is required due to elbow, forearm or humerus fractures,
surgery or other trauma. Apply on the posterior or anterior aspect of the arm. Can be trimmed for size or as patient’s needs change. Made of 1/8” (3.2mm) low-temperature thermoplastic. Sold individually. Latex free.
