Contracture Management Comfy Elbow Orthosis

ComfyTM Elbow Orthosis. Especially user friendly splint. Joints and cuffs are easily molded for a perfect fit. Great resting splint for gradual extension of non-fixed contractures. A quick and easy to use splint for positioning adult and pediatric elbows in flexion or extension. Ideal for blocking hand-to-mouth/head stereotypic movements. Complete washability and well-padded comfort. Includes optional elbow pad which can be used to add elbow pressure protection or aid in the correction of flexion contractures.The adult size is now available in either the traditional Comfy terry cloth cover or the more trim-line broadcloth cover. Latex free.
ComfyTM Goniometer Elbow Orthosis. Provides static- progressive elbow extension in 10° increments by allowing you to gradually adjust and readjust the degrees of extension for free movement within a set ROM. Alternative to serial casting and is excellent for patients with strong flexor tone. Allen wrench is conveniently stored in the orthotic frame, under the cover. Adjustable cuffs provide a custom fit; foam- lined terry cloth cover is removable and washable. Straps are extremely soft and well padded to prevent pressure on all surfaces. Latex free.
Elbow Orthosis
ComfyTM Elbow/Hand Combination Orthosis. Extends the elbow, wrist and fingers simultaneously. Brace is in 2 pieces and can also be worn independently. Provides prolonged stretch for the reduction of non-fixed contractures. Hand and forearm can be rotated to position for pronation or supination. Adjustable brace length and cuffs provide a custom fit; absorbent one-piece, foam-lined cover is remov- able and washable. Straps are extremely soft and well-padded. Adult size now available in two cover options: the original soft, plush terrycloth or the smoother broadcloth fabric. Latex free.
