Contracture Management Knee Supports
KO KMO® Knee Orthosis. Featuring a single posterior joint, the Knee Management Orthosis is a cost-effective, patient-friendly, simple approach for static-progressive positioning management of the knee. The design allows for a quick fit and has a comfortable terry cloth lined system. It enables pre and post operative management of bony and soft tissue injuries, as well as CVA, TBI, CSI, CP and MS. Other features include adjustable range of stabilization of the knee in the sagittal and/or the coronal plane; static progressive positioning from 0˚ to 110˚ (additional ROM may be attained depending on size of patient’s leg); and adjustable length from 12.5” to 16.5” (Pediatric) and from 17” to 26” (Adult). Adjustable splint length and cuff circumference reduce inventory because one adult and one pediatric size fits most.
KO Pentagon Knee Orthosis. This posterior fitting, single-jointed, upright orthosis provides a patient-friendly alternative to the traditional bulky double upright, hinged knee configuration. The Pentagon® Orthosis has no medial/lateral joints or uprights and is the only system that allows the calf and thigh segments to dynamically shorten and lengthen with the patient’s extremity during flexion and extension of the knee. Compensation for this shortening and lengthening is through the use of a free motion cam, achieving comfort and function throughout the full ROM of the orthosis. The design utilizes accurate alignment of the mechanical knee joint to that of the anatomical knee joint, aiding in positive outcomes. Simplified fitting. The KO can address up to five mechanical knee functions: Free Motion, Drop Lock, Variable ROM, Ratchet Lock and Lock Out. Multiple indications: CVA, contracture management, serial cast management and musculoskeletal injuries.
OCSI Static Air Knee Orthosis. Includes two removable inflation bladders for adjustable low stretch therapy and two static setting hinges to control or maintain knee position. Washable soft- goods are treated with Bacti-BanTM and Kool-WickTM to wick away moisture. An effective treatment against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including mold, yeast, fungi, mildew and bacteria. Latex free.
DynaProTM Flex Knee Orthotics. These
flexible static braces with dynamic properties
are bioengineered to effectively treat neuro-
contractures. Patented negative tension force
will “give” with episodes of abnormal tone to
accommodate spastic episodes. Abnormal reflex
arc therapy, provided by the brace, can reduce
the intensity and duration of spasticity over
time. DynaProTM Orthotics are fit to gently “flex” into contractures to reverse lost range of motion. Neuro-Dynamic Therapy for mild to moderate contractures/spas- ticity of the knee. Reverses contractures and spasticity in non-ambulatory patients. Provides dynamic low load prolonged stretch and neurorehabilitation. Patented negative non-linear “flex” properties accommodates involuntary muscle contrac- tions. Gel pads in the thigh, calf and knee pad provide pressure relief and added comfort. Latex free.
LEEDERKneeTM.
Comfortable
fleece lining. The hinges can be easily “locked” at 0°–120° ROM in 15° increments. Improves ROM and allows dynamic
or static setting. Includes abduction pad, patella pad and laundry bag. Latex free.
