been the call of Laconia Motorcycle
Week® as those who come to NH each year are among the heartiest and most dedicated rid-
ers in the world. They come from all over for the unsur- passed scenic routes, from the mountains to the ocean, to the charming towns and reflective lakes; from the winding roads to mountain climbs and the quaint roadside stops to the astounding overlooks.
For 95 years, Laconia has been the call for the opening of the northeast riding season and the first of the “Big 3” ral- lies, including Daytona and Sturgis, but Laconia Motorcycle Week® proudly maintains its standing as the oldest rally in the country. The Makris family, now for 4 generations, shares the pride in what it helped build in Laconia over its 83 years—a true sense of identify with its bikers, appreciation for the hometown New England atmosphere and the warm hospitality received at The NASWA Resort.
But after a long day on the road, finding a home-like place to rest your bike and body is also a top priority. That is why The NASWA Resort in the heart of Laconia, has been a favorite of bikers for 83 years. Biker owned and operated, the Makris family is dedicated to the tradition and legacy of Laconia Motorcycle Week® and invites all bikers to make the “NAZ” their place to rest and rejuve- nate as well as to eat, drink and party during the rally.
The team at The NASWA Resort—from the front desk and restaurant staff to house- keeping and the grounds crew--is attentive and respon- sive to bikers’ needs and enjoys making new friends and seeing old and loyal friends return for many years. Staying at The NAZ is truly like “coming home.”
Ideally located on Weirs

Stay at the NASWA and you can sleep in before the run, ride the day away and then stay late and party hearty, knowing you are already home.

Both dining venues offer live music during Motorcycle Week, including the Bearded Brothers, direct from Florida and their gig in Daytona, who will be rocking the NAZBar nightly.
The Makris family has a soft spot for bikers, but also for their community that has supported it for 83 years as it grew from a natural spring water roadside inn to the full service resort that now welcomes bikers to call it home.
