I’ve listed one of my favorite routes to add
to your list.
The Spaulding Turnpike is a NH Toll Road so be prepared to stop twice en-route to the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. From the circle, take US RT 1 South (2nd right off the
circle) and take a left at the lights onto Elwyn Rd., next to Cumberland Farms. Follow this road to the next traffic circle and take the 2nd exit onto SR 1A. SR 1A is a beautiful ride along the coast and will

all the way to SR 16, which becomes the Spaulding Turnpike. This route will take you past JP China in Alton, which is only 13 miles or so from Laconia and
Steakhouse, Dudley’s Homemade Ice Cream, and of course – the NH Motor Speedway in Loudon. Be sure to stop at NHMS for demo rides, vendors, live entertain- ment, a wall of death and more!
