he Gunstock Hillclimb is an exciting event that com- bines the freedom of riding in New Hampshire’s gorgeous natural surroundings with the cultural authenticity of Motorcycle Week’s original location. This classic Bike Week tradition began in 1938 when Gunstock was still in its infancy, and nowadays, fans still love to take a short drive up the road from the bustling Weirs Beach to witness this high octane competition in the Belknap mountains.
Guests who show their Hillclimb wristbands at the Adventure Park will receive 25% off their adventures.
Staged by Ridge Runner Promotions, this adrenaline packed day of action will serve as a focal point to droves of motorcycle and dirt bike enthusiasts who visit the Lakes Region during the 97th Anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week. The historic 70-meter Torger Tokle Memorial Ski Jump will serve as the formidably challeng- ing course for the AMA sanctioned pro competition.
Hillclimb spectators are invited to make Gunstock their home base for the week. On site camping by tent, RV, or cabin is available for this event in Gunstock’s award win- ning campground, but sells out very quickly! Admission for this event will be $20, and free for children
10 and under. The event is BYOB, but will also feature a vended beverage garden and several food options. As
always, there will be a 50/50 raffle held by Ridge Runner Promotions, with proceeds benefiting the Shawn
Farnsworth Memorial Fund. Gunstock Adventure Park will
be open for the day as well, providing exciting adventure options for the whole family, including the high speed ZipTour, Mountain Coaster, and Scenic Lift Ride to the summit of Gunstock overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. 44

In the past, the Gunstock Hillclimb has featured a combi- nation of professional and amateur riders. This year, due to growing interest and participation, a separate amateur-only event will be held at the same location in September dur- ing the second annual Biketemberfest.
