Dear Friends,
On behalf of the citizens of New Hampshire, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 96th Laconia
Laconia Motorcycle Week is known as the oldest motorcycle rally in the country, and continues to be a proud New Hampshire tradition. Each year, hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from around the country gather to share their passion in our state. New Hampshire is always proud to wel- come visitors, and I hope that you will take the time to enjoy the beautiful scenery, unique history, and attractions that the Granite State has to offer.
As always, thank you to Mayor Ed Engler and the City of Laconia for hosting this event, and to the staff and board of the Laconia Motorcycle Week® Association. It is their continuous efforts year after year that make this event the success that it is.
I also extend my gratitude to the riders who attend Laconia Motorcycle Week® each June, and wel- come new riders to enjoy this exciting week for the first time. Have a fun and safe week, and please visit again soon!
Chris Sununu, Governor
Sincerely,
Christopher T. Sununu, Governor
WELCOME FROM THE MAYOR OF LACONIA Dear Fellow Motorcycle Enthusiast:
On behalf of the residents of the City of Laconia, it is my privi- lege to invite you to be a part of the oldest motorcycle rally in the world — Laconia Motorcycle Week®. This year's rally will mark our 96th Anniversary and we are again looking forward to hosting enthusiasts from around the country and the world from June 8th through the 16th, 2019.
Though our riding season is considerably shorter than that
enjoyed by our friends across the southern tier of states, New
Hampshire is a rider's paradise. As I travel around the country,
I am always struck by how much more likely one is to see motorcycles on the streets of Laconia than anywhere else I have ever been. As a long time rider, I am in a constant state of awe by the beauty this state has to offer. Here in Laconia and in the State of NH, we love our motorcycles and we roll out the red carpet for our fellow riders.
You'll love the winding roads that take you to and from Laconia, around hundreds of lakes and ponds and through the shadows of endless mountains and hills. But during Motorcycle Week, all roads eventually lead to the Weirs Beach sec- tion of our city, where Lakeside Avenue — “ground zero” — runs right along the west shore of spectacularly beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest in the Granite State. Resorts, restaurants/bars, merchants and exhibitors fill the sur- rounding area.
Please make plans now to attend Laconia Motorcycle Week® in 2019. It's a "can't miss" experience and we believe you'll have such a great time you'll want to come back, again and again. I'll look forward to seeing you here.
