Traveling N H Roads

Concord. Leaving Concord, you’ll head east to Capitol Street and left on N. Main Street, US RT 3. Turn right onto Loudon Rd. (SR 9). Here you can merge onto I-93, which will take you to US RT 3 at Exit 20 (for a more scenic and slower ride back, you can also get off at Exit 18 and take US RT 3 back through Franklin, Tilton and then Laconia). From Exit 20 in Tilton, you can take US RT 3 North to Laconia or you can stay straight and take SR 140 to SR 106 North in Belmont, which will lead directly back to Laconia.
Now – onto the ride! This route is approximately 60 miles (with no stops/detours) and takes you from the Lakes Region into Merrimack County and central NH.
Start out going south on US RT 3 (Union Ave.) and turn
left onto SR 106 (N. Main Street) and follow for approxi-
mately 13 miles to the NH Motor Speedway, home of the
new event, the Laconia Short Track race. While here, you
can stop and check out the vendors, demo rides and enter-
tainment and then head next door to the Northeast Motor Ride safe and happy trails! H
