Russ Brown Motorcycle AttorneysTM – Official Sponsor
Since 1975, Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys Nationwide have been help-
ing motorcyclists injured in motorcycle accidents across the country. Founder
Russ Brown was the first in the US to call himself a motorcycle lawyer and cre-
ated the BAM Benefit Card which offers free emergency roadside and legal assistance for motorcycle riders nationwide. Unlike pay-to-play networks, Russ Brown attorneys are always local to you and are handpicked for their skill. The BAM (Breakdown & Legal Assistance for Motorcyclists) program is a network of over 2,000,000 volunteers in the motorcycling community – riders helping riders – who are willing to help out a fellow rider in need when stranded on the road. Another important thought, we should probably add some text about RBMA being a strong supporter of the motorcycle community for decades. We are also Series Sponsor of AFT, and Presenting Sponsor of the Laconia Short Track, with free ticket giveaways in the works! Follow us on #russbrownrocks or #iridewithrussbrown. H
Traveling Around Laconia - Info on Public Transportation During the Rally
As much as we all want to add as many miles as possi- ble on two-wheels, sometimes, other forms of transporta- tion are either more convenient or just plain necessary. If you want to avoid the crowds or if you just want to give your bike a rest for either it or you to cool down, here are some options...
– If you’re already in the Weirs, park your bike on Lakeside Avenue for FREE or at Endicott Beach and at the Weirs Community Park Association lot on Lucerne Avenue for only $5! If you’re in Meredith, take the train or the boat to get to where you want to go! There’s plenty of ways to come into Weirs Beach without riding your bike or driving your car. Here’s some more detailed info:
The Winnipesaukee Railroad “Weirs Shuttle Train”
will run service beginning on the first weekend and then again from Thursday through Saturday. This service runs between Meredith and Weirs Beach. For rates and specific schedules, visit them at hoborr.com.
The Doris E. and Sophie C. boats will run a water taxi service between Meredith and Weirs Beach from at least, Friday through Sunday. For info, visit them at cruisenh.com.
Local Trolley/Shuttle Bus Service – The Roadhouse
Rock-It will provide shuttle service throughout the Weirs Beach area, stopping at many hot spots as well as area lodging facilities. Check for Shuttle Signs and a schedule of service at Rally Headquarters or on our Official Facebook page! In addition to shuttle service, there are several taxi services in the area that can also be called daily to get you where you need to go, safely.
Whether on a motorcycle or car, be sure to watch for traf- fic pattern changes and park only in officially marked or permanent parking locations. For more information on ways to get around Laconia, feel free to call Rally Headquarters at 603-366-2000. H
For the first time in years, the Hobo & Winni- pesaukee Scenic Railroads offered 1 & 2 hour round-trip train rides along the wester shore of Lake Winnipes- aukee from Meredith & Weirs Beach dur- ing Motorcycle Week 2020.
