Join us Monday night, June 14, from 7:30-9:30 pm, at the
Looney Bin Bar and Grill, for a motorcyclist safety,
rights, and riding reunion with some of the longtime local
gatekeepers working for our rights to ride and keeping us safe on the road, where we will flock to recognize and honor in memory, Karl Thober and Joe Proia. Joe, with Jane, created, owned, and operated “Ironstone Ventures,” Motorcycle Rider Training Schools, 20+ years (1994-2014) training over 40,000 how to ride motorcycles, and was Treasurer of the Worcester County Motorcyclists Survivor's Fund, and had a meaningful significant impact expand- ing our community of riders. Joe passed in September 2019. We lost
Karl July 2020, after his 41+ years serving our riding community, a Navy Veteran Karl joined the Modified Motorcycle Association in 1979. From 1983 through 1994, over 520 weeks (!) Karl served as its Treasurer, keeping the books straight, serving with Chet Puffer, Jerry Bennett, and Billy Gannon, its Presidents. He was with at the Check Twice reunion night the five years before his passing, enjoy- ing seeing and being with many of his longtime buddies in Laconia. We'll remember them in honor, recognize and roast a couple others too, check back with the on-line edition of the Rally News for updates.

Come out and celebrate the longtime contributions and spirit of the road. “Down Cellah” will be back with their classic live rock music with riders Cara Heredia, Charlie Beal, Frank Grasso, and Joe Sirois of “Down Cella.” Enjoy the camaraderie, music, presentations, along with great food and beverages by Michelle and the Looney Bin Team.
