OVERVIEW
The Inspirational Leadership Movement (ILM Global) is an Independent and Apolitical Non-Governmental Organization seeking to promote Education and Socio-economic activities.
In a world where the inspiration, motivation, mentorship, and leadership of
young people have attracted great significance and attention than ever
before, and the desire to contribute immensely in positively influencing our youngsters, it is against this backdrop ILM was formed.
In 2016, Mohamed Bobson Bangura, commonly known as ASHMED, came
up with the idea of uniting inspiring youngsters and youths under one major
umbrella to attain leadership qualities and to inspire youngsters to take up
responsibilities in enforcing hard work and dedication to successfully achieve their career goals. This idea
was shared with family members and few friends who shared the same value as a potential to foster positive change and impact in the lives of people, communities, and the world at large. Early 2017, a small group was formed on WhatsApp to put these ideas into action. WhatsApp is an interactive social application; which members use to connect with one another. Since this application is very constructive and easy to use, ILMers decided to take advantage of it to draw connection among themselves. In just a few months, with diligent work and dedication, the group
was fortunate to bring in more members to the circle of inspiration. ILM Global was officially found on September 2nd, 2017. On January 12th, 2018, the C.E.O., together with team members, officiated the launching of the organization at Prince of Wales (P.O.W.) Secondary School in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to ensure that the dreams and aspirations of our youngsters are actualized (become a reality) through by helping them to discover their talents and motivate them to overcome every difficulty towards achieving success.
