Why does the CBR value decrease with increasing the aging days ?
Backhoe is used in order to sample IBA from the aging mound. Since the sampled IBA is becoming lumpy, these IBA need to be crushed by using a pick or plastic hammer before testing.
Therefore, there is a possibility that these crushing operations affect not only compaction characteristics of IBAs but also grain size distribution curve of IBA.
