Blast furnace slag
More than 80% of blast furnace slag is granulated, and the almost granulated slag is used in cement industry.
Export ratio to the domestic use has exceeded 50% since 2010.
Steelmaking slag
Less than 2% of steelmaking slag is for landfilled. (used to be 40% in 1980)
27% of steelmaking slag is internally recovered:
raw materials for the production and engineering material.
Risks of the volume expansion and the alkali water should be considered depending on a use.
