Braman Bentley Palm Beach
2019 is the 100th Anniversary of Bent- ley, and the celebration starts with the introduction of the all-new, 3rd-genera- tion Continental GT. Re-style and re-en- gineered, it features a 6-liter, twin-turbo, 12-cylinder engine that puts out 626 horsepower. Performance gures include 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 207 miles an hour. First up in the Braman Bentley Palm Beach showroom will be the Continental GT Coupe. The Convertible, V8 and high-performance models will be
along later in the year, or early next.
At the other end of the Bentley spectrum is the Bentayga SUV, famed for its luxury, and its 600 horsepower engine and 187 mph top speed. If you don’t need to go quite that fast, the Bentayga is being o ered for the rst time in 2019 with an
styles -- including 2-Door Hardtop, 2-Door Convertible, 4-Door Hardtop, 4-Door club- man Station wagon and 4-Door Country- man Crossover – all available in high-per- formance John Cooper Works versions. News for 2019 includes a streamlined new logo, freshened front and rear styling, and new infotainment technology inside.
Standout models include the Cooper
S E Countryman ALL4 Crossover, the largest, most spacious and versatile MINI ever. Gas and electric motors combine
to produce 221 horsepower, 0 to 60 in
6.7 seconds and a range of 270 miles to let you venture well beyond the every- day. And the gasoline engine re-charges the battery so plugging in is useful, but entirely optional. An all-electric version of the MINI 2-door Hatchback featuring
a drivetrain adapted from the BMW i3 is scheduled for showrooms in late Summer.
And for university auto enthusiasts on
a budget, the 2019 Mini Oxford Edition (named after the factory where it’s built, not the English University) will be priced approximately $2,000 less than any other MINI Cooper – and will include an addi- tional $6,900 worth of additional equip- ment... including heated seats, a pan- oramic moonroof, 17-inch alloy wheels,
a 6.5-inch touchscreen for infotainment, and parking sensors.

optional 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 delivering 542 horsepower... and a top speed of just 180 mph.
Other big news is the extremely limited edition (100 cars worldwide) W.O. Edition Mulsanne by Mulliner. Distinguishing the W.O. Edition is a cocktail cabinet between the rear seats that also acts as a display for a priceless bit of automotive history... a piece cut from the exact crankshaft
that belonged to W.O. Bentley’s very own 8-Liter.
