Driver Lewis Hamilton 44Driver Valtteri Bottas 77The legacy of the Silver Arrows in Formula One dates back to 1954 when Mercedes frst entered the world Championship at the French Grand Prix.Forty years later they would return as an engine supplier in 1994 and a full works team in 2010, now known as Mercedes GP Petronas and bring with them seven time World Champion Michael Schumacher and fellow German Nico Roseburg as his team mate. 2008 World Champion Lewis Hamilton arrived in 2013 and one year later the team would return the Silver Arrows to title-winning ways.With Nico’s retirement at the end of the 2016 season as World Champion the team needed a suitable replacement. They went with Valtteri Bottas from Williams.With the two cars out in Barcelona they clocked up massive laps and from the looks of both of the Silver Arrows pace they will still be the ones to hunt down with Bottas proving a worthy edition to the team, one thing you can bet on though is they haven't shown their full hand yet so lets see what happens in Australia when they start racing in earnest.MERCEDES150
