The Youngest ever and the only female British GT Champion will move to single-seaters with the Double R team as their frst signing for the 2017 British F3 series. Jamie, who lives near Tetbury, Gloucestershire, was born on the 20th May 1998 and like the great Ayrton Senna, began her motor racing career when she was just 11 in go-karts, Ayrton was 13.Jamie went on to beat dozens of 14 to 16-year-olds to win full funding, worth £40,000 to race in the 2013 Ginetta Junior Championship.Jamie, who has just completed her ‘A’ levels is best known for becoming the frst ever female and the youngest winner of the British GT Championship. She is also known for completing two seasons in the Ginetta Junior Championship.In 2015, she won the British GT Championship GT4 class with Beechdean Motorsport, partnering with Ross Gunn with their Aston Martin V8 Vantage. She also became the youngest ever 24 hour race winner at the Silverstone Dunlop Britcar 24 Hour race. 52
