Jenny was born in Boston in 1987 and grew up with her family in Germany in a mountain town between Munich and the Austrian border, practically skiing before walking. A qualified snowboard instructor and self-confessed “sexy adventurer” she rode works downhill mountain bikes and has since been pretty much hooked on adrenaline and speed. Moving to London to study design she was introduced to downhill Longboarding by a friend and quickly discovered she was pretty good at it. When we first met, she was looking for sponsorship to campaign last year’s IDF or International Downhill Federation World Championships. She worked hard as a installation designer for fashion week and running bars at festivals to put together the budget to take her VW T5 camper across Europe on the skate tour. I remember catching up for a drink at the end of last summer when she returned ranked second in the world.
