One of the judges of the Supreme Court annulled the decisions against one of the businessmen who are the symbol of the plot, Marcelo Odebrecht, the construction company’s main executive, who in the end spent only two and a half years in prison after being sentenced to 19 years for corruption. The plenary session of the Supreme Court must ratify the decision of Judge José Antonio Dias Toffoli, who a few months ago stated in a ruling that the case “was a montage resulting from a power project of certain public agents in their objective of conquering the State by means of apparently legal.”
Another of the judicial decisions against Lava Jato has former judge Sergio Moro as its protagonist. The Superior Electoral Court unanimously rejected (seven votes to zero) a complaint from the parties of Lula and his predecessor, Jair Bolsonaro, which asked that Moro lose his senatorial seat due to irregularities in the electoral campaign.

himself from political disqualification is José Dirceu, who when the scandal broke out was one of the most important men in the Government of the Workers’ Party, the formation of Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff. The second chamber of the Supreme Court declared one of the cases in which he was convicted to have expired.
The fourth decision affects the hacker who hacked the investigating judge of the case and the prosecutors, revealing some conversations that demonstrated collusion to persecute the accused. In the end this became the legal basis with which Lula da Silva and many other accused appealed their sentences. Gradually, the cases brought by the Moro court were undone and the accused cleared their records and were free.
