As well as using less plastic by having a card barrel, the trims are made from plastic made up of 60% Wheat plastic from a natural and sustainable source. There is a ball pen, stylus and pencil option available. Can be combined as a set, see page 141.

CARD PEN BARREL
Pen barrels can be made of many materials, but by using the tensile strength of recycled card you are using a material that will perform well as a barrel and will naturally compost over a relatively short period. Recycled card can also be recycled again, though eventually the recycled material will need to be downcycled into material used in clothing for example.
