The 70mm routing stroke and extensive range of accessories for the OF 1400 leave nothing to be desired. For perfect routing results and easy handling.
Precise depth setting.
The accurate play-free depth setting with “zero” function allows the routing depth to be adjusted quickly and without the need for recalculation. Fine adjustment accurate to 1/10mm.
Change cutters in an instant.
The convenient spindle stop with rocker and ratchet principle allows you to change the cutter without removing the spanner. What a relief!
Central clamp.
The guide rods on the parallel stop and other accessories are locked and released via one rotary knob. It couldn’t be easier!
Steadfast stability.
Once the routing height is set, the router is clamped to both guide columns at the same time with only one clamping handle. It is therefore extremely torsionally rigid and guarantees precise working results.
SSB quick-acting safety
brake system.
For maximum safety when routing with the OF 1400. The router tool stops in less than 2 seconds before it can do any damage.
70mm stroke.
Recessing metal fittings and tasks that require a considerable routing depth and involve templates no longer constitute a problem thanks to the larger routing stroke of 70mm.
99% dust extraction.
Combined with the dust extraction hood, the unique chip deflector makes the impossible possible. Up to 99% of chips are extracted during edge routing (source: Festool test workshop). Ideal with a CT mobile dust extractor.

Tool-less copying ring change.
You can change the copying ring on the
OF 1400 without using tools. Simply unlock, remove the copying ring and slot another one in its place – no need for adjustments, the ring is already centred correctly.
