Clamping and Spreading
– Large flat jaw faces, remain parallel under load ensuring workpiece clamps up square.
– Head can be reversed, converting to a spreader clamp.
– Clamping force up to 5,000N. – Special steel inserts in both jaws
provides the requisite strength to exert high clamping pressures.
– Four hardened rollers maintain a constant right angle between the shaft and the sliding arm.
– Cold drawn hollow profile rail, optimised for high static stress loadings, serrated on six faces, electrogalvanised.
– Casings made of super
polyamid, unbreakable, glue-
repellent, resistant to paints and
grease-solvents; with large flat jaw faces for gentle, parallel clamping, without spacers over the entire length of the rail.
– Sliding arm made of special zinc alloy by the die casting method to precise dimensional and angle tolerances, electrogalvanised.
– Spindle with acme thread, rolled, work hardened, wear resistant, with browned; smooth action.
– Ergonomic wooden handle, flush riveted to spindle.
Features precision guided jaws with large, flat faces, making it particularly useful in situations where parts (even of a vulnerable nature) are required to be clamped together at right angles. It is particularly suitable for use with wood, plastics and light metals. Thanks to it’s special clamping mechanism, which prevents any twisting or tilting movements, and the precision guidance of the sliding arm by means of hardened rollers, the two jaws stay parallel in every position, thereby ensuring that clamped parts are consistently secured at right angles.
