calling all things into being by His supreme λόγος, only the Good shall arise out of Him. In this way, there are no riddles. No perplexities. No absurdities. No aporiae. If Yahweh lacked Philo’s inner vision of the Form, He could not rationally create solely the Good, the Just and the Beautiful in the gloriously rational Grecian philosophic way, but also the Bad, the Ugly, and the Unjust through His mytho-poetic ways. For the Grecian philosophical maxim Philo so adores, always proclaims that only out of the Good the Good comes to be, and never out of the Good, its irreverent opposite — the Bad or ugly, and evil or sinful ways.
By contrast, Yahweh’s explicit lack of a visionary and mimetic gaze grounds the Judeo-Christian-Islamic theology of creation “out of nothing” or “out of the Word.” His spontaneous dynamic Word, never arising out of the Grecian Idea or Form, is never an emanation, but pure salvation presence indwelling in every single event commanding all of time and all of space. Philo’s precious synthesis, however, rewrites, and veils Yahweh’s omnific wise Word, its infinite mytho-poetic ways, with Stoicism’s all-too- rational, and finite ways.
The Divine mytho-poetic Word as Word-Being in itself, as unmediated Covenant and Salvation Presence, always in all things indwells. It is that which expands and that which is expanded in all created things, in all events spanning all of time and all of space, from the Old to the New Scriptures, from God’s Word to Christ’s Incarnated Word to the mystic Word heard Within every believer’s heart after the veil is rent, for in this
