creation, and in how ideas flow and are revealed, remains sealed, as we await and await for a new way, a new all-encompassing humanism, be it secular, semi-divine or the ancient-divine, in our confusing times, so distant and so far off — and how remotely so — from His Divine Sign and Verb Divine.
A divinely spoken Word manifested by His Divine Creative Will, whose spirit possesses an everlasting in-dwelling reality. A creation that appears to be “out of something,” a something that is not a Grecian Perfect Idea, but a something that embodies His presence in all things, in all events in time and in space. It is His Living Word that makes all things flourish, becoming the foremost emblem of living matter made manifest. A Living Word that is not mediated by an allegorized Hermes and does not participate in the Divine but is the omnipresent Divine. A Divine Holy Word that expands and is expanded, indwelling everywhere, and whose living presence, witnessed in all things, grand and small, permeates every seed, stirring all things, enchanting all things, awoken or yet fast asleep.
The ceaseless Word, ever present everywhere, began to fade, as from the Old Covenant arose Christ’s Word in the New. Yet the mysterious Divine Word, whether aged, or faded or obsolete to our secular consciousness, still permeates the human heart with reconciliation and fullness. May its poesy never cease to speak to us, or perish, or dare vanish the Scriptures, New and Old, to oblivion’s dark, or shelve it in a musty and dusty old
