Oneyoume is a vivid, lyric journey to the soul that kindles the immense stillness of oneness where the sea of love becomes the inmost music of light and harmony.
Oneyoume is a 54-poem poetic journey to finding one’s soul expressed with the beauty and lyricism only poetry can evoke. Oneyoume is the inescapable rhythm of opposites: struggle, loss, darkness and sorrow experienced by all and that sudden, miraculous window of illumination, clarity, light, joy, forgiveness and love reborn.
Oneyoume brings together a story of renewal through 54 inspiring lyric poems woven into a stimulating journey towards unity, truth and awakening. These mystic poems of yearning, self-discovery and enlightenment are intricately woven in English and Spanish and imbued in eastern and western spiritual philosophies. When read consecutively, they flourish into a soothing journey celebrating life´s tensions and struggles in simultaneous parallelism to the Rose on the canvas, presented on this preface, a beautiful existential allegory.
Oneyoume flourishes through six chapters of poetry that sing to unity, harmony and the circle of life. Morning rises, redly, in “Ab Initio,” the chapter of recreation of the Universe consciously evolving into “One,” one’s unity to God and one’s journey from the God to one’s earth birth symbolized by the sun-like aura beneath the Rose. “You” is like a precipice. A collection of poems exploring one’s separation from the universal into the particular. “You” pertains to the loss of true identity experienced in childhood due to culture and social conventions. “You” is represented on the canvas by the black horizontal bars. Blocks to our natural harmonious nature in contrast with the light of creation. “Me” introduces the spring-like struggle of growth and self-discovery, evolving from thorns and scars to healing, essential for blossoming beyond one’s reality into one’s limitless creative potential.
