existence the seasons, the hours. It is to witness nature’s clemency and inclemency; it is to dwell under its spells, its rituals; it is to experience awe and fear, beauty and terror; it is to fall, to become Orpheus and Eurydice, and Adam and Eve, their children, the miserable ones, the suffering ones expulsed from Eden’s Garden on the journey towards salvation, redemption. Wonder writes itself in you, and you, in wonder.
Just as the Piper pipes, sings and writes the Holy Word, he turns Priest, Prophet and Bard, and innocence’s dreamy Mytho-Poetic-Prophetic voyage sails away towards Experience’s land. Only then the Priest turned Prophet turned Bard understands the child’s lure and his incurable allure. His obstinacy and pertinacity in immediacy, urgency, commands. The Piper having succumbed to the child’s call, just as Eve succumbs to Satan’s temptation pipes and sings, oblivious to space and time. For all he knows: music beckons, singing beckons, yes, they beckon, but what? Poesis. Creation, Sin and Salvation, and these are his being: his dwelling 3⁄4 his immanent Paradise, mirror and spirit of the transcendental Paradise in wrought with light and the Word Light: Sublime Eterna. And called to write the Lamb’s Song, he does so naively, unaware of the
