Page 20 - GALIET DOOMSDAY AND DANTE´S PROPHECY 515: Dante IV
P. 20

Dante’s natal Gemini constellation. Could Dante, beneath this light, be the one and ten without incurring hubris? At most, he is the messenger of God, the deliverer of his Poema Sacro.
Christ as the One and the Many. Yet, what other realms await us encapsulated in this heavenly in- betweeness? What softly whispers, what sings? Sublime lyric syllable 3⁄4 imperceptible breath 3⁄4 murmuring and awakening, yes, the dormant melody of Un cinquecento diece e cinque and its 515 reverberations from their Empyrean stillness. Just as the Hound’s nation shall necessarily be ‘between the felt and felt’ or ‘between heaven and heaven,’ the sacred numerals one and ten, symbols of the Father and Son, shall necessarily dwell amid the philosophical beauties of 500 and 5 and 5 and 5. Neither it is an accident that the ‘tra feltro e feltro’ verse, appearing in 5 line 105 of Inferno, is related, by virtue of number, to the 500 10 5 – 515 prophecy ascertaining that Dante’s Hound is intrinsically associated to the prophecy in both forms. Prophecy, where one and ten are perfect holograms of each other. Both balance and sustain the beams of divine justice composed of two pentad scales. 500 10 5 supports it as a symbol of the resurrected Christ in virtue of its antecedent 500, symbolic of the phoenix’s resurrection, rebirth, and new life,44 and 5 1 5 sustains it as a symbol of the Father in virtue of its central, unifying nature of the one. Hence, 500 10 5 and 515 share the same substance, as Father as Son, as each participates in its other and vice- versa, just as Son participates in the Father and Father in the Son, just as the one
in the many and the many in the one.
Of Monads. Monad and Decad, mystically entwined as mirrors unto one another of
effulgent and living light,45 dwell in the sacred centre of the trinities 500 10 5, X 515 and DXV. Ten and One: cult to mystery of the universe, to God and
Christ, the Son, cult to the sameness of the same and the sameness of the
other, Point and Sphere, Maker and the Made. The Monad, “beginning, middle
and end of quantity, size and every quality”46 47 resembles God as maker, artificer and supreme creative principle, just as the Son.48 Like the Monad, God

45 God as effulgent light and Jesus as living light. In the Gospel of John, Christ is always the life (1:4; 11:25; 6:35, 51; 7:37-38) and the light (1:4, 9; 8:12; 9:5) of the world.

47 Iamblichus says all things are either continuous and have size or are juxtaposed and have quantity. Iamblichus. Theology of Arithmetic. 55-60
