Islands favourites
There are as many roads on Mallorca as there are souls in heaven We love tackling a a a few climbs while there and most of
068 the climbing is done out west If you are more into flat sections
and rolling terrain head out east All over the island you will find old monasteries usually located on top of
a crest THE INNER MOUNTAINS
After navigating the the outskirts of
Palma the the traffic and stress will fade as as you pass the high- way The moment you start climbing alongside the the military camp you get the the idea of
what Mallorca is is all all about This narrow climb takes you to the the most soulful area on the the island Take a a a à right turn in Es Capdellà where three incredibly beautiful climbs await: Galilea Es Grau and Nova Valldemossa Spin your legs and enjoy the spectacular – – now paved – – mule track down to Port de de Valldemossa for lunch This little bay area is is still a a a a secret to most riders Cruise the celebrity-inhabited cliffs around Deia and enjoy the climb over Soller before heading home This ride is is a a a long day on the the bike and if you find the the loop too chal- lenging you can always head home after lunch in in Port de de de Valldemossa shortening the ride by two hours Distance: 135 kilometres Elevation: 2409 metres strava com/activities/130762149
