front. Drilled hole to
side (presumably
used as a lamp at
some stage) does
not really detract
from the visual
attractiveness
& appeal - no
restoration.

Bellarmine jug simplified cardinal face
to neck, cartouche below. Extensive
restoration albeit well done. 7/10. NR.

example Bellarmine, usual
grimacing faced cardinal
neck cartouche, rearing
lion front cartouche. Superb
variegated glaze, no damage
or restoration. Hand written
base label dated 1900
mentions THAMES HOUSE/
STRAND, presumably where the
jug was found? Thames House is
now the headquarters of MI5. 9.5/10.

Chip to base edge, old rim
chipping, generally good.
