with three indented panels. Very crude octagonal neck with chunky applied collar lip. Front panel embossed vertically HANDYSIDES/ CONSUMPTION CURE. Extremely crude manufacture and full of tiny seed bubbles. In manufacture burst lip but generally very good. A rare variant.

51. TWISTED BODY BRISTOL DECANTER BOTTLE. 11.9ins tall. Stunning deep amethyst coloured glass decanter style bottle with eight prominent raised ribs - the entire form very skilfully twisted when hand blown. Wide double collar lip, tooled top. Indented base with re tooled pontil. An exceptional piece of glass, never seen another in this colour. Ex Frank Burgin Collection. 10/10. NR £300-400+
