  63. GOSNELLS HAIR BRUSH POT LID INSERT. 2.9ins diam. Familiar coloured image of the young Queen Victoria, lettering around, virtually 100% intact gold band. This is
a flat lid with no flange or side wall - intended as an insert for a Gosnells hair brush,
and from the famous Harmer Rooke sale of the Ben Swanson Collection auction. Never seen another. Absolutely superb but if finding fault there is a minute
(smaller than a pin head) nick to the underside - see easylive extra images. 9.5/10. NR. £150-200+

    64. MR PUNCH PIPE. 4ins long. Another exceptionally well modelled salt glaze figural bowl of Mrs
Punch wearing four rows of pearl
necklaces,
both arms
upright.
Again both
sides quite
different - see easylive. Again most likely a Brampton made piece. No end mouth piece, this originally made without one. Complete undamaged, rarely seen. Very rare. 9.9/10. NR. £400- 600+

 65. MONKEY FACED PIPE. 4.75ins long. Very well detailed salt
glazed figural pipe bowl with a monkey faced character wearing bow tie, one arm straight, other folded to one side, tail entwined around stem. Both sides different - see easylive extra images. Guy Burch suggested a character probably inspired from images by Gent born brothers Zaxharie (1820-1890) in Paris and Emanuel Noterman (1808- 1863) which feature monkeys engaging in human activities? Most likely Brampton made. Complete undamaged stem with small end mouth piece. Very rare to find one in such mint condition. Very rare. 9.9/10. NR. £400-600+
