PEN BRUSH WIPER. 2.5ins tall, 4 x 2.9ins base area. (AB Inks book p36). All four panels differently transferred with some scrolling & raised vertical ribs Various edge nibbles as is normal with these types. 7.5/10. NR. £40-60+
119. BLACK MAN INKWELL. 4.7ins
tall. Shiny back glazed inkwell in the form of an open mouthed black man
(to take pen/ quill) hands holding up an open topped beaker - to dip in for ink. Eyes and teeth highlighted in white, gold border around outer edge plus two gold ear rings. Base marked G . M. & CO/ PATENT. Extremely rare. (AB Inks book p14) Exc/ A1. 10/10. NR. £50-300+
