Delegates gave the conference an overall rating of 95% exceptional and above average, but don’t take our word for it. Here is what delegates said about the 2022 conference:
“The 2022 conference was outstanding and there could not have been a better time to “Come Together”. Operators were ready and willing to share. We received full value after day one - the keynote, Great Canadian Idea Share, and Opening Reception were off the charts! The next 2 days were filled with learning and more fun. Montreal, here we come!”
“The 2022 Golf Business Canada Conference & Trade Show was the best I’ve been to. The speakers were excellent, and the format of the event allowed for plenty of time to network with industry peers as well as speakers and sponsors.”
Scott Stratten, the Founder of Un- Marketing Inc., kicked off the conference with the highest rated Opening Keynote the conference has ever seen. Delegates gave Scott’s keynote a 97% exceptional and above average rating. See page 10 for a recap of Scott’s keynote address.
According to the delegates, the 19 operational sessions that cover most of the departments at the golf course were off the charts and this is what they had to say:
“I have to commend the entire team once again at NGCOA Canada for the tireless work to bring our industry together by seeking the best speakers and presenters possible. The takeaways to adjust or implement should fuel anyone who attends. This event is an absolute must that ownership, managers and any level of employee should always make time and resources for. The outcomes can be momentous for any stakeholder involved and the returns simply priceless!”
Be sure to read a few of our conference session leaders’ articles in this edition, including: James Cronk’s “Why The F#@k Should I Work For You?” on page 20, Pam Paquet’s “5 Tips for Improved Workplace Communication“ on page 28 and Jay Ashton’s “Think Beyond The Box” on page 26.
We hear year after year that the Great Canadian Idea Share, a staple at the conference, pays for all conference expenses and beyond. Yes, you’ve read that correctly - just one of the over 20 educational opportunities can make you thousands of dollars. During this session, peers share proven ideas while competing for the title of Best in Class which includes great prizes each year. However, the delegates are the biggest winners, as they leave the conference with numerous ideas that they can implement at their course. See page 40 for the winning idea and visit https://conference.ngcoa.ca/education/idea-share to see all the ideas presented.
“Enjoyed everything from the moment I got there! A very well run and organized event! I have already started implementing some of the great ideas I took from the NGCOA Canada conference. Well done!”
