online education and trade material. Kyle has also been instrumental in getting online record keeping programs implemented. Record keeping and scheduled main-tenance practices aides the facility in being a sought- after public golf destination in Alberta.
While Kyle is great with the maintenance programs, he is also involved with training the staff. He has fostered an environment where all employees from any department feel comfortable coming to him with any issues related to club equipment. Open lines of communication help Kyle keep everyone safe and the equipment operating in top form.
Kyle has also stepped up for the Alberta Golf Superintendents Association. He has shown his professionalism and leadership while volunteering for the Alberta Golf Superintendents Property Managers Conference Committee. Over the last five years, he has helped to organize speakers for the Equipment Manager track of the conference, as well as being a presenter at the event. The Equipment Manager track of the conference has seen an increase in attendance because of his effort and hard work.
Kyle’s well-organized shop at the D’Arcy Ranch Golf Club is the perfect example of his professionalism, motivation and ability to contribute each and every day.
At home, Kyle, his wife, and two children run a successful cattle ranch. His ability to manage his work and home schedules is commendable and a testament to his commitment.
“It is the accumulation of Kyle’s professionalism, motivation, and ability to contribute day in and day out to the success of his club, peers, and fellow employees that makes Kyle deserving of this award,” says Michael Roberts. Congratulations to Kyle on this much-deserved recognition. Thank you for being an industry leader. GM
