As Canada’s most participated sport, every golfer has a unique story to tell—now the Canadian golf industry is encouraging golfers to share those stories, aligning on a national campaign to market the game of golf in Canada.
#GOLFCANADAGOLF campaign unites Canadians’ passion for golf
Since its spring launch, the campaign has logged more than 100 story profiles to www.golfcanadagolf.ca, more than 12,000 story views and over 2 million impressions through social media. Stories have been shared from regions across Canada and the hashtag #golfcanadagolf has been gaining momentum since the campaign launched.
Encourage Canadians to #sharetheirstory
The campaign’s objective is to motivate golfers to share their stories in an effort to get more golf played and to welcome new enthusiasts to the sport and celebrate the game all season long. As part of this industry campaign, a custom website – golfcanadagolf.ca – was launched as a portal for stories to be shared. The site features a mix of stories, from professionally filmed feature segments to others submitted by everyday golfers with a unique story to share.
Join the Campaign by:
• downloading the golfCanadagolf posters (visit ngcoa.ca or golfcanada.ca to access the posters) and displaying them at your course to encourage your customers to #sharetheirstory at golfcanadagolf.ca
• Using the hashtag #golfCanadagolf when posting about golf programs and activities at your course, or anything else golf related
