      In this quarter, we also received many requests from youth networks and organisations for copies of BUWA! #8 (Youth in Africa: Dominant and Counter-Narratives), an indication of how the publication was being consumed and used in the field.
Grants Management Unit Highlights 2018
à For the first time, Snr Grants Officer participated in Finance Conference in Budapest.
à Successful SERENIC User Acceptance Testing and End User Trainings held.
à Snr Grants Officer was appointed Snr Grants and Partnerships Manager.
à Programme Associate from the Human Rights, Justice & Rule of Law was appointed the Grants Officer.
à Issued and advertised Terms of Reference (TORs) for new Grants Management System (GMS).
à Launched new Operational Project Guidelines, as well as new Narrative and Finance, Reports Templates.
à Issued 2019 Call for Proposals.
à The shutdown of GMS.
à Developed and implemented the Grants Spreadsheet to mitigate the gap for the recording of pre-award grant activity ‘created’ by the shutdown of GMS and implementation of Serenic while sourcing an alternative pre-award grants management system.
à Serenic Navigator/Award Vision went live.
