FALL EVENTS
A Home Run!
The Foundation hosted over 400 members of the community during its 35th Annual Gala. Themed “Let’s Play Ball,” guests dressed in baseball attire, and enjoyed a fun filled night to help raise funds to bring a state-of- the-art PET Scanner to the NRMC Cancer Center.
Special guests of this year’s gala included our 10 All Stars — Billy Weeks, Eliza Behrendsen, Jen
Yankee, Leann Boyd, Matthew Pagels, Carla
Walker, Chari Addison, Lynn Lacaze, Verline
Parker and Harry Babers. Each of these amazing individuals are currently in treatment or remission from cancer. The Foundation would like to thank our All Stars for actively participating in our Gala and sharing their cancer stories.
The Foundation Board extends its thanks to our premier event sponsors: Cane River Charities, Hospice of Natchitoches, Payne’s Lawn Services, CURA Hospitality, Stantec, and Maglieaux’s Riverfront Restaurant.
The NRMC Foundation Cancer Care Initiative is working to bring a state-of- the-art PET Scanner to our region. Having this lifesaving technology here in Natchitoches will help our doctors detect and diagnose cancer earlier in our patients.
