2019–2020 season 9 JOHN C. JAMISON LEGACY SOCIETY In honor of the late John C. Jamison, The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra proudly announces the Jamison Legacy Society. The society offers WSO patrons an opportunity to provide end-of life estate gifts to ensure the ongoing strength of the orchestra. John C. Jamison had a philosophy about life that did not require expertise or wealth; it merely required a willingness to leave some- thing better than he found it. In his spirit of giving, John funded over 20 performances of “Peter and the Wolf” for area elementary school children. Before his passing, John established the “Peter & the Wolf” fund to enable the WSO to continue performing “Peter & the Wolf” in our schools bringing joy to children and adults of all ages.
