PS | Active Price Management
Active Price Management (APM) has changed
The most competitive
offering yet from your
generic purchases with
consistency of supply
Scheme pricing, where applicable
Compliance and consistency of packaging
Improved ef ciency within the dispensary
Closer relationships with manufacturers
A high level availability of non- scheme products
Competitive and consistent pricing for all substitute products
Our members purchase over 1,800 generic lines. Only 45% are managed in a scheme offering through Accord/TEVA.
Active Price Management (APM) now manages the pricing and purchasing of all of these lines to ensure that you, our members, get the most competitive offering from your generic purchases with consistency of supply.
We have negotiated with both Accord and TEVA
to ensure that APM continues to provide scheme pricing where necessary but we will remove any thresholds, therefore making it the most competitive pricing available to all practices from the rst £ you spend.
The story so far...
In April 2014 we launched Active Price Management, our aim being to provide you with scheme pricing where applicable, but also to ensure that you bene ted when products fell outside of the scheme, or where discounts were limited.
Since 2014 we have moved
over 250 lines to more pro table alternatives to ensure that you are getting the best out of your pricing and purchasing without jeopardising your practice spend thresholds
with either Accord or Teva.
And we will continue to do
so: it is due to the success of APM so far that we have been able to negotiate a new APM Scheme with Accord and Teva.
This is fantastic news for you, our members, as we will now be able to manage the pricing for all generic products purchased and provide assurances that
it will remain competitive.
