Vanity of vanities, and all is vanity,
Nothing under the sun is new.
Speak not anything rashly.
In many words there shall be found folly, He that feareth God neglecteth nothing. Wisdom is better than strength.
Remove anger from thy heart.
Better is wisdom than weapons of war. Fear God, and keep His commandments.
Give the number of the chapter in which these sayings occur.
5. Read Chapter XV of the Book of Proverbs. Memorize three of the following verses of this chapter: 1, 3, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 29, 33.

1. Locate the Lebanon Mountains, Tyre, Joppe, and Jerusalem. Show by what way the wood for the Temple was brought to Jerusalem.
2. Why was the preparation for building the Temple unusually hard work?
3. Why were only the  nest materials used in building the Temple? Name some of those materials.
4. What promise did God make to Solomon?
5. Read again the description of the Tabernacle and its furnish­ ings and compare them with the Temple.
6. Describe a day spent by the Jews in building the Temple.
7. Write an essay entitled, "Solomon's Reverence for the House of God," describing especially the solemn dedication.
8. Compare the three parts of the Temple with the three parts of your parish church.
