4 GOD PROMISES MAN A REDEEMER
of nothing, not because He needed them, but so that creatures could share in His happiness and in His glory.
The highest of God's creatures are the angels. They are most like unto God, because, like God, they are spirits and have no body.

Not all of the angels are alike. was God's that some of them should be closer to Him than others. Those that are closest to God are most like unto God.
The Bible tells us that there are nine di erent kinds, or choirs, of angels. They are : Angels, Archangels, Principalities, Virtues, Powers, Dominations, Thrones, Cherubim, and Seraphim. The most wonderful of all these are the Cherubim and Seraphim. The lowest classes are the Angels and the Archangels. The AnĀ gels watch over human beings and protect them. Each one of us has ,a Guardian Angel.
When God created the angels, He gave them a test. Before they could enjoy the happiness of Heaven, they had to prove that they loved Him more than they loved themselves. God did not force the angels to love Him. Their wills were free, and they could do whatever they chose to do.

Some of the angels failed in the test. They were proud and refused to obey God. Their leader was Lucifer, one of the highest angels that God had created.
God did not spare the angels who had sinned. He gave to the angels who obeyed His will the power to cast Lucifer and his followers into hell. The leader of the good angels was Michael. The Bible tells us of
